The Golden Globes 2011 fashion round up - The Let Downs

While many amazed at the Golden Globes there will undoubtably be dissappointments from women who you just wish would've gotten it right...
The Let Downs

Oh Heidi, I thought you were the super-mum-model. As much as I want to, I just can't like her Marc Jacobs look for this event, plus the make-up is too heavy and the hair too 'done' up for a dress like this. I think the belt detail is also a little too fussy when you have that print on there too.

Is it just me or am I getting deja-vu with these two. As great as Amy Adams - in Marchesa - and Carrie Underwood - in Badgley Mischka - looked in their respective gowns, I feel that I've seen them in exactly the same gown before. They were kinda 'meh' in a sea of wow outfits this time.

What happened to Christina Aguilera? A year ago she knocked it out of the park at the Golden Globes but this time I feel she's gone backwards in terms of style and I think the influence of the Burlesque movie has gone too far. Dita Von Tesse does this kind of styling perfectly, but I feel like Christina's just lost her spark. Let's hope she steps it up for the Grammy's.

I love Halle Berry but this Nina Ricci dress screams try hard for the actress. Shame, she used to really light up the red carpet.

This is another dissapointing look for Jennifer Love Hewitt. The Ramona Keveza gown looked like it drowned the tiny actress, and the hair seemed a little bit over the top too.

Oh I agree about Christina Aguilera! She looks like a bottle of her perfume! Trying to hard to be a Ms Von Teese I think!
