The Golden Globes 2011 fashion round up - The Princesses

It's Here!! The awards season has hit and I've been soaking up the gorgeous gowns from the Golden Globe Awards 2011.
There's been so many looks to get through so I'm splitting them all up into posts so you can digest them all.

The Princesses
If there's one thing I love about awards season it's the big beautiful princess gowns and these ladies did not let me down...
Gorgeous in a green Monique Lhuiller Catherine Zeta Jones was my best dressed at this event. It is simply impossible for her to look bad on the red carpet in my opinion, that added to the fact she was glowing next to her husband Michael Douglas - who had recently beat cancer - only added to her stunning appearance.

Who knew a diva could tune it down? Jennifer Lopez looking goddess like in Zuhair Murad, such a U-turn from her usual figure hugging looks, I'm in love with the shawl detail.

Newcomer to the red carpet, Jennifer Lawrence may not be in the textbook princess gown but she looks stunning non-the-less in Louis Vuitton.

I have much love for Olivia Wilde. She's wearing an amazing embellished princess Marchesa gown, my only wish is that she did something with her hair. The blunt fringe cut is a bit severe compared to the delicate jewels on the gown.

Hands down the best maternity at the Golden Globes and second to Catherine Zeta Jones is Natalie Portman. There's just something about an expectant mother which makes her glow. She's wearing a sweet pink Viktor and Rolf gown, which is definitely being added to my wishlist right now.

Nude was a big trend at the Globes this year. Kaley Cuoco in Katherine Kidd, Michelle Williams in a flower print Valentino dress, Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham and Scarlett Johanssen toning down the sex in a stunning Elie Saab.
